Kasparov in Mönchengladbach

On 2nd of June, Garry Kasparov was in Mönchengladbach - the event had been announced on the German ChessBase pages. We give a short note with some photographs by Michael Negele.
Ex-world chess champion Garry Kasparov had been invited by the "Initiativkreis Mönchengladbach" for the series "Pioneers of the World in Mönchengladbach". In the afternoon he gave a simul against 15 opponents, and in the evening a lecture on the topic "The Master Game: What Leaders Can Learn from Chess".
Michael Negele was there together with IM Bernd Schneider, and inevitably they met some other chess friends: inter alia Ralf Niederhäuser - CCI member and president of the Schachbund NRW; collector Siegfried Tschinkel from Eschweiler (you may read about his collection in KARL 1/2009 http://karlonline.org/109_1.htm); and Mr. Raab, the W. Pauly collector from Würzburg.
Below some photos of the evening event.
