Under the Flag of Tata Steel -
Wijk aan Zee 2011

[2/3]

Then we discussed in detail our intended book projects, the redesign of our web site which is "gotten long in the tooth", and the new start of the database project. After all eight book projects for 2011 and 2012 are on the financing list, the first – volume 2 of the bibliography of the Yugoslavian chess literature by Prof. Dušan Drajić – is already "in print".
Advance orders by paying in the expenses (including postage) of 12 EUR / 15 US$ are explicitly desired. [Yugoslavian Bibliography II]

Kateryna Lahno could be satisfied with the course of the tournament,
in the end she finished third in the GMC.

The "giant" vs the (victorious) "dwarf":
The only German participant Sebastian Siebrecht
lost his game against Illya Nyzhnyk (in the GMC).

The cash audit was scheduled for 10 am in the house of
Bert Corneth in Leidschendam.

Back to the tournament, here Radek Wojtaszek vs Laurent Fressinet (in the GMB).
The Tata Steel design favours "chess in the water".
