Despite
all the work on preparing the meeting at Brunswick/Dresden/Wroclaw we
should not forget the birthday of our all-time second best German chess
master - Robert would shout "Tarrasch" now.

May Robert Hübner
keep his position on "chess and the world" for many years and
even extend it to the delight of all friends of good chess literature.
He will always remain an asset to a "kingdom on 64 squares"
which meanwhile proves to be very impoverished of individuality.

PS: Today (06-11-2008) an interview of Robert Hübner by Stefan Löffler
was published at www.faznet.de/
