This month we have to mention only three birthdays, the trio is led by Eric Fisher from the English town of Hull who looked back on a ¾ century on September 7th.

Nearly exactly 10 years younger is our Canadian correspondence chess expert J. Ken MacDonald who reached the "65" on next day (8th of September). Lastly he still appeared on the group photo reproduced in our Chess Stalker Quarterly 1, on this occasion we remind once more of his works as a chess author (Publications of our members).

Our German member Hans Ellinger (Tübingen) – we already know him from the 2007 and 2009 column – celebrated his 71st birthday on September 26th. With regard to his Tübinger Beiträge we submit a review by Taylor Kingston published 2003 at ChessCafe.com: www.chesscafe.com/....
