An initiative with which Ken Whyld was closely associated was the 'Amsterdam Group', launched in 2002 by Jurgen Stigter with the objective of achieving a comprehensive bibliographical recording of all chess literature in one publicly accessible database. The group has now renamed itself the Ken Whyld Association, and has a website (www.kwabc.com) displaying material of significant interest to chess historians and book collectors as well as to those wishing to know more of Ken himself: it includes, for example, a complete list of monographic works authored or edited by him, some of them not formally published.
